Criminal Investigations Are Conducted By Both Florida And Federal Authorities
Generally State investigations begin with local police departments or state agencies, after officers of those agencies complete their investigations they will either arrest the defendant to be charged or present their report to the local office of the State Attorney in each Circuit in Florida who may authorize an arrest or decide what charge if any to bring against a defendant.
